Kristina Logan Workshop

Kristina Logan a legprofibb üveggyöngykészítő, akit valaha is láttam és remek tanár. 10 évvel ezelött vettem részt egy workshop-ján Zürichben abban a műhelyen, ahol akkor már magam is rendszeresen tanítottam. Nekem akkor az a kurzus nagy lökést adott, nem azért mert technikailag annyi újat tanultam - bár Kristina technikai tudása elképráztató- hanem, mert hozzáállása,személyisége, professzionalizmusa hatott rám. Nem csak profi üveges, de kedves, nyílt, segítőkész barát. Azóta tartjuk a kacsolatot és nagy megtiszteltetésnek tartom, hogy felkértek, legyek az aszisztense a corningi kurzuson.
Kristina Logan is the best beadmaker I have ever seen and she is a great teacher. 10 years ago she came to teach an advanced class to Zürich at the studio where I was also teaching beadmaking. I was happy to be her student. Her workshop was an important step in my beadmaking history. I was deeply impressed how professional she was working, teaching, making her jewelry and handlig her career. And beside this she is a very friendly, loveble, open, helpfull person. I was honored to be her teaching assistent in Corning.

A csapat 9 főből állt ( a tizedik eltörte a kezét :( minden résztvevő haladó gyöngykészítő.

A 6 napos kurzus minden másodpercét élveztem! Reggel 8-kor nyit a studió, már lehetett nyüzsögni, hogy mi jött ki a kemencéből előző napról. 9-kor kezdtünk rendszerint Kristina bemutatójával, egyébként önállóan dolgozott mindenki. Aztán volt újabb bemutató , megbeszélés, mindenkivel egyénileg problémamegoldás....mint egy rendes kurzuson illik. 4.30 kor elmentünk kajálni, aztán vissza és utána enyém volt a csapat este 11-ig.

És képzeljétek, élő adásban nyomtuk-azaz Kristina nyomta- február 8-án, amit megnézhettek Ti is. ( figyelem! egy gyöngy készül, de 50 perc! akkor klikkelj, ha van egy kis időd ) az elején látszik a képernyő jobb alján a hajam!!! :) és én rakosgattam ki a szerszámokat is, üvegeket is, és én hívtam a technikust, hogy kapcsolja be a kemencét :)))

Tervezgetjük, hogy Kristna eljön hozzánk is egy kurzust tartani. Csak legyen fizetőképes kereslet....

There were 9 advanced beadmakers in the class.( The 10th has broken her arm the week before ) I have enjoyed every minute of the 6 days. The studio opens at 8, some went early to see the results in the kilns. we have started with Kristinas demo at 9. Everybody was working independently during the day. Kristina took time to talk to everybody about their problems, their designs, where they'd like to get. She was really open to help them.

At 4.30 we stopped and had some dinner, than went back to work. I was responsible for the class until 11pm, when the studio closes. I cleaned up, closed the propain and oxigen pipes...and went to the hotel.

On the 8th of Febr Kristina was (and we were) on life steam(ups, this was a mistake! Kristina has corrected me :it was life stream!:) Sooo exciting!!!! Watch it on the link above..

We are planing to have Kristina teaching in our Studio in Sopron. I hope we can realize it.
